THE RETIRING ROOM BAR LAUNCH WITH DIDIER OF DOGMA, ANTWERP

This Thursday 28th November, we’re opening the doors to The Retiring Room, our new subterranean bar inspired by the retiring rooms of India’s train stations. Award-winning bartender Didier Van den Broeck from Dogma in Antwerp will be behind our bar for one night only, for an evening of cocktails, canapés and celebrations.



Starting at 9pm, Didier will be mixing serves including a Japanese Blossom with Martini Extra Dry, Bombay Sapphire East gin, fino sherry, lychee, and grapefruit, and the Death Dry Drop, with Santa Teresa 1796, vintage 1998 oloroso sherry, yellow chartreuse and black rice. For something more savoury, there’s the Kimchi Dog with Patrón Reposado, kimchi, celery and agave, or the Bloody Mary with Grey Goose, tomato, hoisin and chipotle. To eat, our Executive Chef Surender Mohan will be dishing up aloo tuk, crispy Bombay fried chicken, and aromatic curry patta prawns.

SUNDAY BRUNCH IN MAYFAIR

Our new Sunday brunch: Samosas, Dosas & Mimosas.



Created by Executive Chef Surender Mohan, the menu is inspired by the decadent feasts a slow Sunday morning calls for, with re-creations of some of the city’s most loved brunch dishes alongside family recipes. Our drinks menu will include a mimosa of choice, allowing guests to take their pick from the likes of Royal Cardamom Infused Peach, Blue Butterfly Pea Flower & Lemongrass, and Andhra Chilli Spiced Mango. Those looking for a twist on the classic Sunday brunch can start with a selection of eggs including Baida Roti stuffed with Lincolnshire Sausage; and Tameta Per Edu, a popular breakfast favourite in Parsi households. For something a little heartier, there will be dosas stuffed with our signature Aloo Masala, Duck Chettinad or Bheja Pepper Masala and for something a little more comforting, Bohri Lamb Samosas, Kanda Poha with Tadka Asparagus or Spiced Goan Chorizo, and Lobster Tail & Scallop Khichdi will be available, alongside popular Bustle’s classics.

Samosas, Dosas & Mimosas will launch on Sunday 2nd June and will then run every Sunday thereafter. Brunch will be served from 11am to 3pm.
