This month, we are delighted to be welcoming guests into our subterranean bar for the launch of Bombay Talkies, a series of film nights every Monday evening throughout February, March and April.

Inspired by the Bombay Talkies, the movie studio which revolutionised cinema in Mumbai in the 1930s, guests will be greeted with a glass of Laurent Perrier on arrival and a selection of canapés after taking their seats in front of the big screen to watch one of our favourite films including Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel and Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity. During the film, guests will be served a three-course dinner created by Executive Chef, Surender Mohan, which includes a starter of Samosa Papdi Chaat, before mains of Chicken Tikka Makhani, aromatic Malabar Lamb Curry or Mutter Paneer, served alongside spiced Aloo Methi, Dabba Dal, Kalonji Naan and Pulao Rice and a saffron-infused Jalebi Cheesecake for dessert.

Tickets will be £52pp and will include: A glass of Laurent Perrier champagne on arrival with canapes and a three-course meal.

Bombay Talkies will be available every Monday from 11th February –15th April, starting at 6.30pm.

Bombay Bustle Hosts a Series of Yoga Brunches

Every Saturday starting from 12th January to 23rd February
Every This January, Bombay Bustle, the Indian restaurant on Maddox Street from Samyukta Nair, will be hosting a series of Yoga Brunches every Saturday morning, stretching out the weekend with a yoga class at The Ady Centre -the luxury lifestyle and wellness hub, followed by a well-earned three-course brunch at Bombay Bustle from Executive Chef, Surender Mohan.

Guests will step into an hour-long transformative yoga session at The Ady Centre, where they will be personally guided by talented DeRose method gurus, focusing on both physical and respiratory techniques to enhance well-being and fitness after an indulgent Christmas.

Post workout, it’s a short walk to nearby Bombay Bustle where the Yoga Brunch will kick-off with a warm lentil salad, followed by a choice of dishes including Tandoor Spiced Haloumi with brown rice khichadi and fresh turmeric, Tawa Macchli, seabass with sugarsnap thoran and fresh vegetables, or Grilled Tofu with sautéed vegetables and a beetroot stew. To cleanse the palate, Surender has created a light, refreshing lemon and mint sorbet to finish. Chilled coconut water served on arrival will keep the brunchers suitably hydrated. For those looking for a more laid-back Saturday brunch experience, Bombay Bustle will be running the Yoga Brunch every Saturday from 10am – 12pm with a yoga-free option.

Co-founder Samyukta Nair says, "The New Year is a great time to carve out some space and time for yourself. We wanted to create something that gives guests the chance to let go of the working week and wind down. We’re so excited to partner with The Ady Centre, where the DeRose method is truly transformative, and Surender’s menu is the perfect way to refuel."

Yoga Brunches at Bombay Bustle will be available every Saturday starting from 12th January to 23rd February.
